How to set up a shisha pipe safely
Use this general guide to assemble and prepare most shisha pipes. Your model may include additional parts or a manufacturer-specific guide.
1. Place the glass base on a flat, stable surface and add water so the downstem is submerged by approximately 2–3 cm.
2. Fit the stem securely into the base using the correct grommet. Do not force the stem into the glass.
3. Fit the hose and bowl, checking that all connections are airtight.
4. Loosely fill the bowl so the flavour does not touch the foil or heat-management device. Cover with suitable foil or fit the heat-management device.
5. Fully light natural charcoal in a safe, well-ventilated area using suitable tongs. Place the charcoal on the bowl only when it is fully lit.
6. Allow the bowl to warm for a few minutes, then take slow, gentle draws. Adjust the heat gradually if the flavour becomes harsh.
Always use tongs for hot charcoal, keep the shisha away from children and pets, and never leave lit charcoal unattended. The supplied assembly guide is available as an attachment. You can also view our online setup guide:
