What is the differences between male and female mouth tips?

There are two different types of Shisha mouth tips, the Male and Female types.

Both are cone shaped, the male mouth tip is much more narrower near the tip, this can and is usually inserted into the hose tip first so the round section is on the outside and that is the part you would be putting your mouth on.

The female version on the other hand usually sits over the hose tip, so you would be pushing them on.
